S05E16: Doctor Bashir, I Presume; S05E17: A Civil Investigation
S05E16: Doctor Bashir, I Presume S05E17: A Civil Investigation
Doctor Bashir, I Presume: Holo-doc? No, real doc. Making a custom GPT in the future is hard work, apparently. Bashir is khaaa--no, just genetically modified.
S05E18: Business as Usual; S05E19: Ties of Blood and Water
Business as Usual: Quark is broke and up to his ears in debt. Obviously he needs to get into arms dealing. Holosuites are a legal loophole? Quark may be an immoral gremlin, but he has lines. Miles suffers: dadmode.
S05E20: Ferengi Love Songs; S05E21: Soldiers of the Empire
Ferengi Love Songs: Rene has found his niche: horny Ferengi. Starfleet pest control is... interesting. Time to visit Moogie! Strangest thing to find in your childhood closet? Wait, how big is this closet?? Brunt is a Sovereign class hater.
S05E22: Children of Time; S05E23: Blaze of Glory
Children of Time: Kira breaks up with yet another boring guy. Welcome to... Gaia? Grandfather Problem Trolley Problem Or Something. Odo's gotten pretty good at shapeshifting in 200 years. Worf gets a cult.
S05E24: Empok Nor
*Except for Garak
Star Trek horror episodes have two modes: worse than the cave set, or unbelievably good. Cardassians do not believe in Right to Repair. These redshirts are VERY redshirt.
S05E25: In the Cards; S05E26: A Call to Arms
In the Cards: Baseball cards? In my post-capitalist society? Yikes, Jake. Yikes. Soulless minions of orthodoxy is my next band name. NoJ Fetch Quest party. Everyone ends up better than they started, somehow, including Weiyoun.
M08: Star Trek: First Contact
Justen's theory of Trek Movies.
PICAAAARD has borg-lepathy. The Enterprise does the traditional "ignoring clear orders". Borg geometry. Surfing the time-travel wake of a sphere.
E06S01: A Time to Stand; E06S02: Rocks and Shoals
Jude gets a promotion! We start the Dominion War in earnest!
A Time to Stand: Nearly everyone's on the Defiant, and the war isn't going great. Oh yeah and Jake is still on the Dominion-occupied DS9. Tetracel White is a strategic resource.
S06E03: Sons and Daughters; S06E04: Behind the Line
We had a good week. Too bad these episodes are less good.
Sons and Daughters: Worf continues to bridezilla. Bet you forgot Alexander existed, because Worf sure did. Worf continues to be a terrible dad.
S06E05 Favor the Bold; S06E06 Sacrifice of Angels
Favor the Bold:
Odo and the Changeling... ugh. They could not have conveyed Odo's shame and disgust more clearly. Rom's on death row. The fate of the Alpha Quadrant is in... Quark's hands?
